Privacy policy

When you visit this site. We use Vercel Web Analytics and Speed Insights to see which pages are read and how fast they load. For each page view they record the page, the referring site, your approximate location (country, region, and city), your device type, operating system and browser version, and page performance. They do not use cookies. Vercel says this data is designed not to identify individual visitors; it groups visits using a short-lived code derived from your request that is discarded after 24 hours. Vercel, which hosts the site, also processes technical data such as IP addresses to deliver and protect it.

When you email us. We receive your name, email address, and anything you include in your message.

When you book a call. Our Google Calendar booking page asks for your first name, last name, and email address, and records the time you pick. Calls take place on Google Meet.

During a call. With your permission, we use Granola, an AI note-taking app, to transcribe the call and produce notes. We ask before it starts, and if you say no, we don't use it. Granola deletes the audio once the transcript is made; we keep the transcript and notes.

From public sources. Our contact-management system, Attio, creates a record for people we email or meet with and may add publicly available business information, such as your company, its website, and professional social media profiles.

We use your information to reply to you, schedule and prepare for calls, follow up, and keep track of our business relationships. We use analytics to see which pages are useful and to keep the site fast. We do not use your information for advertising, and we do not sell or rent it.

We rely on a small set of service providers: Google Workspace (email, calendar, and Google Meet), Attio (contact management), Granola (call transcription and notes), AI assistants that help us read, summarize, and draft email, and Vercel (hosting and analytics). They process your information to provide their services to us. We have turned off the settings that let these providers use our data to train their AI models. Some providers, such as Google and Vercel, also handle limited service data, like usage and security logs, under their own privacy policies.

We may share information with our professional advisers, such as lawyers and accountants, under a duty of confidentiality; when the law requires it; to protect our rights or anyone's safety; or as part of a merger, acquisition, or sale of our business, in which case the new owner must honor this policy for the information it receives.

We keep emails, booking details, contact records, and call transcripts and notes for as long as they are useful to our business relationship with you. If we work together, we also keep what we need for legal, tax, or contract purposes. You can ask us to delete your information at any time, as described below. Analytics data is aggregated and is not tied to you.

You can ask what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it by emailing zack@mcraygroup.co. We will respond within 30 days. When we delete your information, we remove it from our active systems; copies can remain in backups for a short time, and we may keep what we must for legal, tax, or contract reasons. Copies in your own accounts, such as a calendar invitation, are yours to manage.

We do not sell personal information. If you want to make any privacy request, including a request not to sell, use zack@mcraygroup.co.

This site does not use cookies and does not track you across other websites, and no third party collects information about your activity over time and across websites through this site. Because there is no cross-site tracking to turn off, the site does not change its behavior in response to Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signals.

We use established providers, keep access to our accounts limited, and take reasonable steps to protect your information. No method of storing or sending information is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

We are based in the United States, and your information is processed and stored here, though some providers may handle it in other countries. If you contact us from outside the United States, your information will be handled under US law and this policy.

This site is meant for businesses and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect their information. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.

If we change this policy, we will post the new version on this page and update the effective date. If a change is material, we will also note it prominently at the top of this page for at least 30 days.
